Caesarstone Brings Summer Cocktails to the Surface

 

This summer Caesarstone is bringing summer to the surface and everyone loves a good drink to ease the hot days. Whether it be on a kitchen countertop, island, bar top or a coffee table summer is all about food, cool drinks and enjoying your company. Here are a few drinks to get you into the summer mood. Mojitos, Spanish Red Sangria, Caesars, and The VP are a great way to start of your BBQ or dinner party and will be sure to impress your guests.

Mojitos, a timeless Cuban classic that possesses a unique and refreshing taste that will have you feeling like you are relaxing on a beach in the Caribbean. Mojitos are tarty with a mint-lime tang that is wrapped up nicely with a kick from white rum. Eye and pallet pleasing, this drink is sure to help you beat the heat this summer.

What you will need:
  • 1 Table spoon of sugar
  • 10 mint leaves (rub mint leaves around rim before placing in the cup)
  • ½ of sliced lime (can use lime juice) (Muddle together to extract the mint aroma)
  • 60 ml of white rum
  • (Shake these ingredients together)
  • Add ingredients to a tall glass with ice
  • Top off drink with soda

 For the fruity lovers, the Spanish Red Sangria. This drink is sweet, zippy and perfect for a warm summer evening get together with friends and family as it is tasty and easy to make in large batches. This drink will have you feeling like you’re enjoying an alluring Barcelona sunset over the Balearic Sea.

  • What you will need:
  • 1 Lemon (sliced)
  • 1 Lime (sliced)
  • 1 Orange (sliced)
  • Spoonful of cherry’s
  • 1.5 cups dark rum
  • 0.5 cups white sugar
  • 750 ML bottle dry red wine
  • 1 cup orange juice

Caesar’s also commonly known as Canada’s national drink. A smooth veggie-like taste with a spicy sensation from the vodka and tabasco. The Caesar is a really fun drink to experiment with as there are so many fun ways to create and garnish it. A traditional garnish is a celery stick and added; pickles, limes, olives, bacon, or even whole sliders. You cannot forget the salted rim and the tomato red colour that gives the Caesar its signature look.

To Garnish:
Rub lime around rim of cup
TIP: put rim of glass in a pile of celery spice so that the spice sticks to the glass

What you will need:

  • Fill glass with ice
  • 50 ml vodka
  • 2 dashes of hot sauce
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • Fill with Clamato juice
  • Complete garnish with any of: lime, pickle, bacon, olives, celery, or sliders.

For a final touch, a simple but sweet tasting beverage The VP. Just by the name it is already an awesome drink to have around at a summer BBQ. This cocktail is as easy as 3-2-1 to prepare and even easier to sip.

What you will need:

  • 1 oz. Vodka
  • 1 oz. Simple Syrup
  • ½ oz. Fresh lemon Juice
  • Regular Perrier
