Caesarstone Presents: Altered States by Snarkitecture
The kitchen island is the epicentre of the modern home – a place to entertain, share experiences, present our cooking skills, and showcase advanced technological appliances. Caesarstone invites Snarkitecture, the New York based collaborative design practice, to examine the kitchen island through the changing states of water: Ice, Water, and Steam. The installation is inspired by topographic landscapes, exhibiting four islands composed of multiple layers of stacked Caesarstone slabs, highlighting Vanilla Noir, Alpine Mist, White Attica and Rugged Concrete. Three islands are dedicated to the three states of water while the fourth recreates in Caesarstone an iconic 70’s video game, as an element of the interactivity and engagement that is inherent in today’s kitchens.
