Reflecting the most upcoming industrial trends in its Metropolitan collection, paired with timeless compositions, Caesarstone launches seven new designs

May 2018: Leading manufacturer of high-quality quartz surfaces Caesarstone has introduced seven new designs. Five of them belong to the new Metropolitan collection, a range leading the industrial inspired by the rough touch and unpolished colours, textures and patinas found in industrial architecture.

The new 2018 additions to the Metropolitan collection are Excava, Topus Concrete, Airy Concrete, Cloudburst Concrete and Frozen Terra. These five designs achieve the authentic textures of manufacturing such as oxidized steel, poured plaster and raw concrete that are inspired by factories and lofts and translated into residential and commercial interiors with inspiring, organic colours.

4046 Excava is a premium design characterized by the intriguing patinas of casting and oxidizing, combining the authentic features of rust and concrete. Its beauty reflects the geological decay of stone, weathered by time and nature.

4023 Topus Concrete is a design inspired by topological strata and combines mineral formations found in nature with the rugged patinas of industrial materials. With a gentle hint of warm pink, its blush undertone echoes the pastels that are impacting the interiors market today.

4044 Airy Concrete responds to today’s trend for a versatile light grey colour, presenting a richness that minimalism can achieve, with its airy textures, enriched by dark grey and white areas. Its authentic rough concrete finish has been refined for the home.

4011 Cloudburst Concrete brings a softness to raw concrete, transforming the material by using lighter shades -heavy in its presence but light as a cloud. Its white shades are a romantic interpretation of the industrial trend.

4601 Frozen Terra carries the revival of modernism with its scattered decorative aspects. Its concrete robustness is lightened up with a tinted shade of white. Small quartz pieces translate a playfulness of terrazzo while irregular black accents add another layer of interest.

Two additions to the varied assortment in the Classico collection, 6011 Intense White and 4643 Flannel Grey. Intense White celebrates Nordic design and a back to basics shift towards optimism with its illuminating white base and evenly distributed glass flakes. Flannel Grey hosts a textured medium grey tone with dark grey accents that swirl across the surface, giving it depth and movement.
