Care & Maintenance

Step-by-Step Care

  1. Wipe the surface with a soft cloth or a non-abrasive scourer dipped in warm water mixed with a mild detergent. Rinse with water, and dry with a soft cloth or paper towel.

  2. Always wipe up wet spills, to prevent limescale forming.

  3. Check each cleaning product first on an inconspicuous area to ensure that it doesn’t damage the surface. Patina build up may look like a light colored stain.

  4. Please note that Natural, Honed, Concrete and Rough finishes require more cleaning than our Polished finishes. Since there is more exposed surface area with these finishes, metal marks, fingerprints and other signs of daily living will show. Most of these marks can be removed with little effort and non-abrasive cleaning products such as Vim Lemon Cream Cleaner.

  1. Gently rub the area using a soft cloth or paper towel with an approved cleaner (see Recommended Cleaning Products)

  2. Clean a larger area rather than the stain itself, in a circular motion.

  3. Rinse with water, and dry with a soft cloth or paper towel.

  4. Repeat this process, if the stain is still visible.

  1. Dried spills and stains should be reanimated with water for several minutes before attempting recommended cleaning methods.

  2. Clean the surface with a damp cloth or paper towel.

  1. Place a small amount of Bar Keepers Friend® Cleanser (powder) or oxalic acid on a damp cloth. Do not use an abrasive scourer.

  2. Wipe away very gently, in a circular motion.

  3. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, and dry with a soft cloth or paper towel.

  4. Follow these instructions carefully to avoid damaging the surface.

Most of the marks can be removed with little effort and non abrasive cleaning products such as Soft Scrub Liquid Gel.

Do not allow liquids to dry out or remain on your surface for a long time. Always wipe away wet spills, to prevent limescale forming. This is particularly important on dark surfaces, on which a patina may be more visible.

Always refrain from placing excessive weight on your countertop. Excessive weight can also have an impact on the underlying cabinet structure.

Caesarstone surfaces are scratch resistant. However, avoid using sharp objects, such as knives or screwdrivers, directly on the surface. Always use a cutting board especially on dark surfaces, which tend to be more prone to show scratch marks.

Always use a cutting board, although quartz surfaces are scratch resistant.
