IDS 2022

This year at IDS, Caesarstone made a statement with zero physical product present. As a leader in the sustainability category, Caesarstone is giving back to the A&D community by donating our booth space to give a platform to sustainable designers. We offer an immersive sensory experience for Architects and Designers to come together to reflect on and celebrate the tranquility of nature. Inspired by Caesarstone’s new Pebbles Collection, we will bring nature into the heart of IDS.

As part of our future vision of sustainability at Caesarstone, we are committed to discovering opportunities where we can support our environmental goals. As outlined in our latest ESG report, using little to no energy, water, and carbon is a mission that we continue and chose to incorporate at IDS.

“This year, we truly felt inspired by our need to integrate calm, serene, and softness into the event space. We strive to be a leader in design, innovation, and sustainability and are incredibly proud to create this platform for the Canadian design community,” said Ken Williams, President and CEO of Caesarstone, The Americas.

As part of our effort to create a net zero waste event and give back to the community, the landscaping and other installation elements will be donated to local parks and communities. It is important to us that when we leave IDS, our design and impact lives on.

The natural world provides more than just the materials we transform into one-of-a-kind countertops. We can find grounding, harmony, and tranquility in the world around us if we choose to look. The connection between community and the environment is at the heart of the Pebbles Collection, This inspired landscape design studio Donohoe Living Landscapes, in collaboration with acclaimed industrial designer and artist Brent Comber, created a space to bring dreams to life.

Commitment to Sustainability

For 35 years Caesarstone has been crafting surfaces with the earth’s minerals. We believe that our products and practices drive responsibility towards the environment and society, by connecting nature to the heart of the home. We create our products with nature in mind to reflect our core values. Quartz is a precious resource, as such, recycling material is an important aspect of production. Our stone surfaces contain up to 42% reclaimed quartz. Caesarstone values sustainable products, environmentally responsible production, health and safety, and social responsibility. We hold our practices to a high standard and make sure that industry leaders believe that as well.

As a leader in the sustainability category, we continue to innovate and inspire through our partnerships and products. As part of our future vision of sustainability at Caesarstone, we are committed to discovering opportunities where we can support our environmental goals. As outlined in our latest ESG report, using little to no energy, water, and carbon is a mission that we continue. The natural world provides more than just the materials we transform into one-of-a-kind countertops. We can find grounding, harmony, and tranquility in the world around us if we choose to look.

Accountability through Sustainability

Our company holds several certifications and partnerships such as the Greenguard certification and SCS recycling certification. Our products and practices also meet The Health Product Declaration standard, The International Health and Safety Foundation sanitary standard, and contribute to LEED credits.

Unlike any competitor in the industry, we have committed to go above and beyond the typical self-declared labels and hold ourselves accountable by offering verified transparency. Third-party verification is another step and advantage Caesarstone is taking to become the most trusted brand.
