Swings by Philippe Malouin

Caesarstone returns to the Interior Design Show in Toronto Jan 22-25, 2015
Announces collaboration with designer Philippe Malouin

As part of their ongoing commitment to creating new platforms for design, Caesarstone has invited Canadian-born, London-based designer, Philippe Malouin, to engage with its quartz surface materials, emphasizing their inherent qualities of strength, durability and design.

The collaboration, Swings, is an interactive installation composed of a 12-piece swing set presented in a circular arrangement. Typically associated with carefree childhood activity, Swings is removed from its playground context and relocated to a large, minimalist environment; juxtaposing a sculptural language with the idea of childhood memory and play.
