Caesarstone Supports Alberta
Unexpected wildfire in Fort McMurray, Alberta leaves thousands of residence homeless.
Toronto, ON (May 9, 2016): Caesarstone is helping support the thousands of people who have been severely affected by the massive wildfire in Fort McMurray, Alberta that began to spread through the city on May 1. Over 80,000 people have been forced to evacuation from their homes due to the large flames. This is the largest fire related evacuation in the province’s history.
To help, Caesarstone will be contributing proceeds from every slab of quartz sold throughout the month of May to the Canadian Red Cross to support those who have been affected from the wildfire within the Alberta region.
The fire has destroyed several homes and communities and there is no awareness of when the fire will subside.
